Situation
A telecom becoming a technology company wanted to use AI across the business, but its data was scattered, its systems were loosely joined, and nothing was set up for the way AI needs data and oversight. Adding AI on top would have meant cost, risk, and dead end pilots.
Action
I built the foundations that make AI safe to use: trustworthy data to learn from, clean ways for AI to connect to the business, security to keep it in bounds, and the means to see what it is doing. I made good data and oversight non negotiable, so AI could not run ungoverned in a regulated business.
Impact
The business can now move AI from experiment into real, governed use, reusing one shared foundation across many use cases instead of rebuilding for each one.
Insight
The hard part of AI in a large business is not the model. It is the data, the connections, the security, and the oversight underneath it. Get those right and use cases multiply. Skip them and pilots die.
