Shape MTN Ghana's transformation from Telco to TechCo: govern multi-cloud architecture and spend, manage technical debt, and ready the platform for GenAI and intelligent enterprise workloads.
What I did
- Owned enterprise cloud and platform architecture across Azure, AWS, and on-premises environments, delivering architectural governance for large-scale, AI-ready systems
- Drove development of reference architecture, technology standards, architecture principles, and patterns, shaping the Telco-to-TechCo transformation
- Architected AI-ready platform layers (data, integration, security, and observability) to support GenAI and intelligent enterprise workloads
- Established multi-cloud architecture standards and governance aligned with long-term business and regulatory strategy
- Monitored and governed technical debt across the organization
- Implemented FinOps governance and automated cost controls as interim FinOps champion, cost-trend and anomaly RCA, right-sizing, auto-shutdown, scale-to-zero, and coverage rebalancing
